Location: Warrington

Persimmon Homes are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Planning Manager to join their North West team based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a strategic planning role with one of the UK's largest and most successful housebuilders.

• Manage and progress a pipeline of short, medium, and long-term residential planning applications

• Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and associated documents

• Work collaboratively with the Land, Technical, and Commercial teams to maximise land opportunities

• Maintain excellent working relationships with local authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders

• Monitor and influence emerging local plans and planning policy

• Provide strategic advice to senior management on planning risk and opportunities

• Represent the company at planning committees, appeals, and public consultations

• A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field

• MRTPI status (or equivalent experience)

• Strong understanding of the UK planning system and residential planning policy

• Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills

• Proven experience in managing major planning applications in-house or via consultancy

• A commercial approach to planning and land promotion

• Full UK driving licence
