Planning Manager

I am currently working with a Local Authority in the East Midlands, looking for an Interim Planning Manager to lead its Development Management, Planning Policy, and Minerals & Waste teams on an initial 6-month contract.
 
This is a strategic leadership role, managing three planning functions while working closely with senior leadership and elected members to drive performance and service delivery.
 
What they're looking for:

Planning management experience within a Local Authority
Strong Development Management and Policy background
Experience leading planning teams and managing performance
Minerals & Waste experience is desirable 
Working arrangements:

£700 per day
Initial 6-month contract
Flexible hybrid working
