Plant Fitter

Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a Plant Fitter to join the team.
 

Location: Crimplesham
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7am – 5pm, Saturdays as required. Overtime available.
Pay: To be discussed, Dependent on experience

Role Overview:
Various maintenance tasks within a quieter workshop based out of Crimplesham. Repairs from small engines and pumps to excavators and crushers. Ability to work on site where required

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of workmanship
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Completion of inspection forms.
• Ability to source and organise parts with the help of the maintenance team based in Ellington
• Work alongside briefed RAMS & SSoW
• Regular equipment checks.
• Keep work area tidy and safe
• Suggest and implement improvements where necessary and authorised to do so.

Qualifications/ Experience

• Experience of working with a wide variety of heavy plant.
• Work with quality at the forefront.
• Excellent knowledge of basic H&S within a workshop environment.
• Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to work alone
• The confidence and competence to deliver against targets
• Basic administration skills
