Mellor Plant UK Ltd - A forward-thinking family business specialising in new & used construction plant machinery, attachments and agricultural vehicles. We are also dealers for Yanmar Machinery, Rototilt Tiltrotators & JPM Trailers.
We pride ourselves on offering a professional, personal service and we are looking for a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team.
Main responsibilities:
* Carry out services, repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and other construction equipment
* Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carrying out effective repairs
* Working on new and used machinery and attachments
* Working independently while also supporting the wider team when needed
* Time will be divided between being workshop based and attending breakdowns to perform on-site repairs
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
What we are looking for :
* A full UK driving licence
* Previous experience in plant, HGV, agricultural, or mechanical engineering
* Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Own tools

* Full-time permanent role
* A competitive salary with employer contribution pension
* 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with excellent overtime availability
