Plant Fitter

Ground Construction Limited (GCL) is a leading RC Frame Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Plant Fitter to join our team in Welwyn Garden City.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out thorough examinations and inspections of plant equipment.
* Servicing and maintaining a range of construction plant machinery.
* Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
* Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Plant & Equipment You'll Be Working On
* Excavators
* Dumpers
* Rollers
* Scissor Lifts
* Concrete Pumps
* Generators
* Compressors
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
* Valid CSCS Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Right to Work in the UK
* UTR Number
* Previous experience working with construction plant machinery
* Strong fault-finding and repair skills
* A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Overtime: Saturday work available, 7:00am – 1:00pm, as required.
