Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading company in the Anaerobic Digestion sector, seeking a motivated Plant Operator to join their team in Peterhead. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thriving industry and contribute to the day-to-day operations of an Anaerobic Digestion facility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operating a plant on a Monday - Friday shift pattern + Call out.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing site issues, with experience in SCADA/DCS systems.
• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording inputs and outputs.
• Managing data entry into spreadsheets, ensuring compliance with EA permit requirements.
• Supporting the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the site.
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of both mobile and fixed plants, including defect reporting, greasing, refuelling, and checking hydraulics and engine oil.
• Taking a proactive approach to daily operational and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.

• A full, valid driving license is essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the Anaerobic Digestion sector or similar process environments is highly desirable.
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications and/or experience are highly regarded.
• Telehandler and wheel loader experience or qualifications are a plus.
• Experience operating a plant via SCADA/ DCS is beneficial.
