Senior Plant Quality Manager

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Plant Quality Manager to lead the Quality function across our Folkestone manufacturing sites, providing strategic leadership across Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Laboratory Operations, Batch Certification and Quality Systems.

Reporting to the European Head of Quality, you'll be the site's senior Quality leader, accountable for quality performance, regulatory compliance and inspection readiness. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and European Business Quality, you'll shape site quality strategy, influence business performance and embed a culture of quality excellence across the organisation.

What you'll be responsible for

Defining and delivering the site's Quality Strategy, ensuring alignment with European and Global Quality objectives.
Providing end-to-end accountability for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Analytical, Microbiology and Packaging Inspection functions.
Ensuring compliant and efficient batch certification and release of raw materials, bulk products and finished goods.
Leading complex quality investigations, deviations, non-conformances, Root Cause Analysis and CAPA activities to deliver sustainable improvements.
Driving a proactive, risk-based approach to quality management, identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance and reduce business risk.
Developing and continuously improving Quality Systems, governance frameworks and laboratory capabilities.
Maintaining compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 22716 and internal Quality Management Systems.
Acting as the primary Quality representative during regulatory inspections, customer audits and external audits, ensuring the site remains inspection ready.
Using KPIs, trend analysis and performance data to drive continuous improvement and support strategic decision making.
Building, coaching and developing high-performing Quality teams through structured development, succession planning and technical competency programmes.
Influencing stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs and R&D to embed a culture of quality ownership throughout the business.
Supporting European and Global Quality initiatives, sharing best practice and driving operational excellence across the wider organisation.We're looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering measurable results, including:

Driving improvements in Right First Time (RFT) performance.
Successfully leading regulatory inspections and external audits.
Increasing on-time batch certification and product release.
Reducing deviations and recurring non-conformances through effective Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.
Strengthening Quality Systems and improving regulatory compliance.
Using quality metrics, KPIs and trend analysis to improve operational performance.
Building and developing high-performing Quality teams while creating capability for future business growth.You'll bring

Significant senior Quality leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading Quality Assurance, Quality Control and laboratory operations.
Strong knowledge of GMP, Quality Management Systems, ISO 13485 and ISO 22716.
Demonstrable experience leading regulatory inspections, customer audits and compliance activities.
Excellent knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, CAPA and risk-based quality management.
Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
Experience developing Quality Systems, governance frameworks and organisational capability.
