Workshop Plater ****

BMSL Group are recruiting for a Plater to work in our clients workshop based in Llantrisant.

Duration of works: 1 month but could extend

Immediate Start

Location: Llantrisant

Contract Hourly Rate: £22.00 - £25.00

Key Responsibilities

* Reading Blueprints: Interpreting complex technical and engineering drawings to figure out exact measurements.

* Marking and Cutting: Drawing cut lines on metal plates and using tools like plasma torches, saws, or CNC (computer-controlled) machines to cut the pieces.

* Shaping Metal: Using heavy machinery like rollers, presses, and thermal tools to bend or curve metal into specific shapes.

* Assembling Components: Moving large plates with cranes and hoists, then temporarily or permanently joining them using bolts, rivets, or tack welding.
