Plater/Fabricator

Pay: £22.70 per hour

Job Description:

Plater / Fabricator – Earn £1,200+ Per Week – North Lanarkshire (7 Positions) We are seeking 7 skilled Plater / Fabricators for a growing structural steel firm. This is a secure, temp-to-perm role in a fast-paced heavy engineering workshop. You will fabricate and assemble large-scale steel components working directly from technical engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fabricate and assemble heavy steel structures to high standards.

* Read, interpret, and work accurately from complex engineering drawings.

* Safely operate burning gear, manual tools, and fabrication machinery.

* Carry out marking, cutting, bending, and rolling of steel sections.

* Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely.

Experience & Requirements:

* Proven background in heavy engineering or structural steel environments.

* Ability to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances under minimal supervision.

* Experience with heavy-gauge steel, large fabrications, and forming tools.

* NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding or time-served equivalent (preferred).

* Flexibility to work day and night shift rotations as required.

* Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided)
