Platers & Semi-Skilled Operatives - Perth

KBM are currently recruiting for Platers and Semi-Skilled Operatives for a well-established structural steel fabrication workshop based in Perth.

These are ongoing opportunities with an initial duration of 12 weeks, with the potential for longer-term work.

Plater Duties:

* Fabrication and assembly of structural steel components

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Marking out, fitting and preparing steelwork

* Working to quality and safety standards

Semi-Skilled Operative Duties:

* Operating bandsaws and cutting equipment

* Forklift driving and material handling

* Moving steel throughout the workshop

* Assisting fabrication teams as required

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a heavy engineering, fabrication or structural steel environment

* Ability to work safely and effectively within a workshop setting

* Forklift licence advantageous for Semi-Skilled roles

* Reliable with a strong work ethic
