Platform and Data Engineer - Leeds

About the role

We are growing our Data Engineering, DevOps and Platform Engineering capability in Leeds and are interested in hearing from Engineers at differing career levels.

You'll play a key role within empowered teams to flexibly and efficiently design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services. Working with our customers to build systems that support their mission you'll be encouraged to identify new ways of solving problems. You will work in a small team and will be given as much ownership and responsibility as you have the appetite for; whilst being part of a large Engineering community that can give you the support that you want in order to expand your knowledge and capabilities.

Security Clearance is required for this role, if you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible for this and willing to go through the clearance process.

About you

You will have experience of working with Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Factory. You'll have great communication and problem solving skills, which are vital in this role, as is a desire to learn new technologies.

In addition you will have:

Scripting abilities with languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, JavaScript or Typescript
Experience with PowerBI
It would be great if you also had experience in some of the following, but if not we'll help you with developing those skills:

Broad understanding of Azure capabilities (Active Directory, VMs, RBAC etc).
Working within an Agile culture
