Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer with solid experience building secure, stable Azure platforms (using Terraform as a primary technology) is sought by a hyper growth PaaS based in Birmingham.

Working at the forefront of B2C technology this Platform Engineer will work closely with the engineering and DevOps teams to evolve the company's cloud infrastructure managing network security and identity integration to deliver a best in class foundation for product innovation to facilitate rapid business growth over the coming months.

This role would suit a mid to senior platform engineer who is looking for a more, collaborative, autonomous working environment who relishes the chance to progress quickly into a technical sector lead role.

This Platform Engineer based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

- Strong Azure cloud services understanding
- Solid infrastructure as code skills - Terraform
- Experience with contain platforms - AKS, ACI, Azure container apps
- Cloud security best practice - audit logging, secrets management etc
- Git version control
- SAML SSO set up and management experience
- Strong understand of network concepts - firewalls, VNET, DNS etc
- A delivery focused, mission driven personality who is comfortable driving innovation
- Any experience working in a scale up, high growth environment would be a real plus

This Platform Engineer near Birmingham will receive:

- Starting salary of between £70,000 - £80,000
