Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Boomi MCS (Molecular/Cloud runtime environments) to support integration workloads.
  


• Design and manage container-based deployments across AWS and/or Azure, including provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
  


• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment of integration artifacts.
  


• Implement infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates) to ensure repeatable, version-controlled environment provisioning.
  


• Apply runtime hardening practices, including patching, access controls, and security baseline configuration, in line with organizational compliance standards.
  


• Collaborate with integration developers and the solution architect to ensure platform readiness for phased releases.
  


• Troubleshoot platform-level issues affecting integration runtime performance or availability.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Boomi (Molecular/Atom/MCS) environments.
  


• Strong working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure container services (e.g., ECS, EKS, AKS, or ACI).
  


• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
  


• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  


• Solid understanding of runtime/platform security hardening practices.
  


• Prior experience in a similar integration or platform engineering capacity, ideally within a large enterprise or public sector environment.
