£40,000-£47,000 + OTE (circa £55k) + Office Based & Onsite (20% travel to sites) + Door to Door Pay (when travelling to UK sites) + Stay Away Allowance + Overtime + Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs + Travel Paid + Company Benefits

This company design, manufacture, commission and install production line machinery for a variety of sectors across the UK and globally. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious business that are going through a growth stage and are known to invest in their staff and latest technology.

The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to provide remote support to Commissioning Engineers, including fault-finding and software modifications on specialist production line machinery. In this role you work with both the service department and the project/ development teams to provide technical support.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced PLC Engineer/ Commissioning Engineer/ Field Engineer with extensive knowledge of PLC programming, have worked with Siemens and/or Mitsubishi and are prepared to do stay away from home.

The Role
*PLC Engineer
*Remotely troubleshooting the installation and commissioning of production line machinery
*Working within an industrial environment, for example, manufacturing, foundry, industrial, oil & gas, steel works, etc.
*Office Based and Onsite (80% Office Based, with occasional stay away from home)

The Person
*PLC Engineer/ Automation Engineer/ Controls Engineer or similar backgrounds
*Experience as a Maintenance Engineer/ Service Engineer/ Commissioning Engineer/ Packaging Engineer/ Production Engineer/ Conveyor Engineer with extensive PLC programming experience encouraged to apply
*MUST have PLC programming experince (Siemens & Mitsubishi ideally)
*Holding a Valid Passport
