You'll develop new software, improve existing control systems, commission equipment, fault-find on live systems and work closely with electrical, process and software engineers. This is a long-term product development role where you'll see your software running on real-world industrial equipment. ---------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities Develop TwinCAT 3 Structured Text software Write PLC logic, sequences, alarms and interlocks Commission industrial control systems Diagnose and resolve faults remotely and on-site Support and improve existing PLC software Work closely with electrical, process and software engineers Produce and maintain technical documentation ---------------------------------------- What We're Looking For Commercial experience programming in Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) Experience supporting live industrial control systems Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics Hands-on commissioning and fault-finding experience Full right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available) ---------------------------------------- Desirable Experience Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 EtherCAT Modbus CAN ADS SCADA or Remote Telemetry TwinSAFE IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 ATEX Git CODESYS C Python HMI Development ---------------------------------------- If you're a PLC Software Engineer looking for a role where you can take ownership, work on innovative technology and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
