Plumber / Multitrade - Annual Salary: £38,500

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Regional Plumber / Multi to join our Clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude, a flexible approach, and relevant qualifications. This mobile role involves a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance across various sites, including local authorities, educational institutions, and commercial buildings.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct domestic and commercial plumbing repairs, including reactive and void works.
- Perform first and second fixing of pipework, servicing of PPM, and reactive first-time fix repairs.
- Work on unvented systems and carry out minor carpentry, tiling, and decorative works.
- Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trades related to repair requests.
- Ensure the quality of work meets the highest possible standards at all times.
- Deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service, supporting all trades.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
- Keep the customer/office informed about progress and plans.
- Undertake all work efficiently and cost-effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible.
- Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in a safe, clean, and workable condition.
- Maintain accurate records of works undertaken with photographic evidence as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ level 2-3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Building Maintenance
- Competent in using phones or PDAs for effective communication.
- Professional demeanour when dealing with residents, tenants, and representatives.
- Organised approach to meet the demands of maintenance contracts effectively and timely.
- Team player with a proactive attitude towards personal development.
- Practical approach to health and safety.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritise work efficiently.
