Job Description - Plumber Southampton

Are you an experienced Plumber looking for a new challenge with a team committed to improving local housing? Southampton City Council is seeking a confident, self-motivated, and versatile individual to join our Housing Operations team as a Multi Trade Operative – Plumber.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a wide range of plumbing works in both occupied and void residential properties.
Complete minor works across other trade disciplines, including carpentry, tiling, and general maintenance.
Ensure effective communication with residents, team members, and other stakeholders.
Maintain high standards of property maintenance and customer service.
Adhere to health & safety guidelines and local council policies.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in plumbing, ideally with experience in both repairs and installations.
A strong understanding of property maintenance and the construction industry.
Ability to manage your own workload and perform other multi-trade tasks as required.
Excellent communication skills and a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
