Location: Central London Office: Moorgate Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Hours: 8–9 hours per day, depending on project
We are currently looking for an experienced Working Plumbing Foreman to join a growing team working across a range of commercial projects throughout Central London.
This is a 50/50 hands-on and management role, ideal for an experienced plumber who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman position while remaining actively involved with the plumbing works on site.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising and leading teams of up to 8 plumbers/tradesmen, depending on project size. Remaining hands-on with plumbing installation works alongside the team. Carrying out quality checks and ensuring works are completed to the required standard. Conducting Safe Starts, toolbox talks and site briefings where required. Completing daily site diaries and relevant site paperwork. Ordering and managing materials. Planning and coordinating plumbing works on site. Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and within programme. Liaising with Project Managers and Site Managers. Reporting directly to the Project Manager on smaller projects. Working under the Site Manager on larger projects and taking responsibility for the plumbing team. Coordinating plumbing works alongside other trades.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman, Working Foreman or Senior Plumber. NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing – essential. Blue CSCS/JIB Plumbing Card – essential. Gold CSCS/JIB card – advantageous. Strong commercial plumbing installation experience. Experience supervising and leading other plumbers. Ability to work confidently both on the tools and in a supervisory capacity. Good understanding of site health & safety requirements. Strong communication and organisational skills. Commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable. Data centre experience would be advantageous.
