A college in the Cambridge area is seeking a dedicated and motivated Lecturer in Plumbing to join their dynamic Construction Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, engaging training to a diverse group of learners in both practical and classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective teaching and assessment across Plumbing programmes
• Prepare lesson plans, Schemes of Work, and assessment strategies
• Track student progress, provide feedback, and offer tutorial support
• Liaise with employers, parents, and guardians as required
• Stay up to date with developments in the Plumbing and Construction sector

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing
• Relevant industry experience in Plumbing/Construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
• Willingness to undertake a teaching qualification (if not already held)

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification
• Experience in vocational assessment and verification
• Ability to integrate core Maths and English skills into vocational delivery
