Plumbing Lecturer

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Plumbing Lecturer to join their growing team and help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons to students across Level 1 to Level 3 Plumbing programmes, supporting learners of varying abilities and backgrounds. Working closely with the Curriculum Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the department, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience.

Drawing on your industry expertise, you will inspire and motivate learners to achieve their career aspirations while helping them develop the practical skills and knowledge required for success within the industry. You will also support the promotion of Plumbing courses by participating in marketing and recruitment events, sharing your professional experience and passion for the trade.

Salary: £33,000 - £44,000 per annum

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have either previous teaching experience or substantial industry experience within Plumbing. Applicants should hold a minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and possess a recognised teaching qualification for Further Education, or be willing to work towards one.

You will be an effective communicator, confident in delivering engaging lessons to groups of learners, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Strong organisational and administrative skills are also essential to maintain accurate student records and support learner progress effectively.
