PMO Analyst (Insurance)

Job Description

We are currently working with a Leading London Market Insurance company to recruit a PMO Analyst. Reporting into the PMO Manager, the successful individual is expected to act as a key programme support on larger programmes of works, taking responsibility for organising and coordinating key project activity to ensure that it aligns with the objectives of the change initiative.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Ensuring all project reporting aligns with the plan and reflects accuracy of progress, risks, benefits and financials.
Managing the Programme RAID Log and Change Request process
Maintaining the financial process and tracker including validating invoices, raising and tracking Purchase orders, liaising with both Supplier/Vendor and Internal Accounts Payable Teams.
Developing and supporting the Joiners and Leavers process for the PMO.
Supporting, controlling and maintaining the Programme plan and delivery matrix and other key control and governance artefacts.
Providing PMO support to Workstream Leads and provide added assurance around project and portfolio governance.
Monitoring Programme resourcing and scheduling and maintain control documentation.
Capturing and tracking Actions and Decisions from key meeting forums including Steering Committees and PMO Governance meetings.
Creating updates on the Programme dashboard and KPI’s on costs, benefits and quality
Supporting the quality assurance and reviews for the Portfolios and Projects and provide assurance in terms of documentation and capturing of key project data.
Supporting ongoing review of the committed benefits for Portfolios and Projects.

The ideal candidate needs;

PMO experience.
A strong understanding around Programme/Project management.
Experience working for an Insurance company.
