The Role

The ZOE Science & Nutrition podcast is one of the world’s leading health podcasts, reaching millions of listeners every month.

We’re looking for an exceptionally organised, curious and ambitious person to help us reach the next stage of growth for the show. You’ll work across guest research, production, editorial and operations, helping bring world-class conversations to life while learning how a high-performing podcast operates behind the scenes.

This a full-time UK-based role ideal for someone who quickly learns and takes ownership. You’ll attend recordings in the UK and internationally, support podcast growth, and play a hands-on role in bringing every episode to life.

The Team

The superstar team you’ll work directly with:

• ZOE’s Podcast Production Manager (your line manager)

• ZOE’s leadership, expert spokespeople and contributors

• ZOE’s Content, Creative Studio, Marketing, Product, and PR teams

• World-leading scientists, researchers, clinicians and health influencers

• External production partners, freelancers and recording studios

What You’ll Be Doing

️ Production & Guest Coordination: Coordinate podcast recordings from planning through to publication, managing guest communications, scheduling and recording logistics to ensure every episode runs smoothly and on schedule.

Research & Editorial Support: Research guests, topics and audience interests while creating guest briefs, prep documents and research summaries that help shape stronger conversations and better episodes.

⚙️ Operations & Continuous Improvement: Manage production tracking, release forms, documentation and operational processes while continually improving the systems and workflows that support the podcast.

Publishing & Performance: Support episode publishing across podcast and video platforms, managing metadata, quality checks, reporting dashboards, operational trackers, listener feedback and performance trends to help improve the podcast over time.

• Podcast Experience: Experience working on a podcast.

• Media & Content: Experience in media, journalism or content production.

• Exceptional Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Written Communication: Strong written communication skills.

• Project Coordination: Experience managing projects, coordinating stakeholders or running complex processes.

• AI Confidence: Confidence using AI tools to research, learn and improve your work.

• Love of Great Content: A genuine love of podcasts, media or storytelling.

• Learning Mindset: You learn quickly and enjoy tackling unfamiliar topics.

• Ownership: You take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.

• Curiosity: You’re naturally curious and ask great questions.

• Problem Solving: You enjoy solving problems and improving how things work.

• Collaboration: You’re comfortable working with smart, ambitious people and receiving direct feedback.

• Interest in Health & Science: You’re knowledgeable or curious to learn about nutrition, health, and evidence-based content.
