About the Role

Personnel Link is recruiting on behalf of a well-established paint and bodyshop in Guildford for an experienced Polisher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three years of polishing experience within an automotive bodyshop or accident repair environment. If you have worked as a Vehicle Polisher, Car Polisher, Smart Repair Technician, Prepper/Polisher, Bodyshop Polisher or have experience in vehicle refinishing and detailing, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be working on a variety of vehicles, ensuring every repair leaves the workshop with a high-quality finish ready for customer handover.

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Polish newly painted vehicle panels to a high standard

  
  


• 
  

  Remove minor paint defects including dust nibs, orange peel and light scratches

  
  


• 
  

  Use machine polishers and specialist polishing compounds safely and effectively

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out final finishing work before vehicles are released to customers

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect completed work to ensure excellent quality standards

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with Paint Sprayers, Preppers and Bodyshop Technicians

  
  


• 
  

  Keep your work area clean and follow health and safety procedures

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Polisher or Bodyshop Polisher

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience within an automotive paint and bodyshop or accident repair centre

  
  


• 
  

  Confident using polishing machines and finishing products

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality

  
  


• 
  

  A positive attitude and good team-working skills

This position could suit someone currently working as a Vehicle Polisher, Automotive Polisher, Car Polisher, SMART Repair Technician, Prepper and Polisher, Vehicle Refinisher or someone with strong polishing experience gained within an accident repair centre, bodyshop or vehicle refurbishment environment.
