Portfolio / Letting Manager

Signature Recruitment is proud to partner with a respected property management company to hire a Residential Lettings Manager. This full-time, permanent role is based in Chelsea, offering a salary of £55,000–£60,000 and the opportunity to take ownership of a substantial residential portfolio while being fully hands-on in the lettings process.

You won’t just be overseeing, you’ll be actively managing the detail: drafting agreements, handling compliance, liaising with agents, and ensuring the smooth running of every tenancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and manage day-to-day lettings operations across a varied residential portfolio
• Draft and manage tenancy agreements, compliance documents, and marketing activity
• Conduct annual rent reviews and ensure all processes align with current legislation
• Handle arrears and debt recovery, working directly with finance and legal teams
• Register deposits and manage tenancy terminations
• Instruct agents for valuations, manage their performance, and step in directly when required
• Input and maintain lettings activity data, ensuring accurate reporting
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, agents, and stakeholders
• Process invoices for tenancy works and letting fees in collaboration with finance
• Prepare and deliver regular updates to colleagues and external stakeholders

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ residential lettings experience (Central or West London preferred)
• ARLA qualified with strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance (Essential)
• Comfortable managing different tenancy types, including regulated agreements
• Proven experience in high-volume administrative environments within property
• Familiarity with property management software (e.g. Horizon, Cube, or similar)
