Job Description - Portfolio Manager and Trainer - Medical Gas

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Eastwood Park as a Portfolio Manager and Trainer for Medical Gas. You will provide expert technical support and be responsible for the portfolio and development/consultancy service, to include the development, updating, delivery, quality assurance and accreditation of course/service provision for all HE and FE programmes and the management of the resources used including budgets, freelance trainers, collaborators and training equipment and facilities.





      You will work 37 hours per week at both our on-site Training Centre and at client's premises so some travel and overnight stays should be expected.



      What We're Looking For:



      • A relevant qualification at QCF level 4 or above and suitable engineering experience in medical gasses installation and maintenance is essential. A recognised Teaching or Internal Quality Assessor qualification would be desirable.

      • Sound knowledge of the operation of safe systems of work.

      • Practical experience of operation and maintenance of Pressure Systems.

      • Authorised Person experience within NHS or Commercial FM Sector and a good understanding of HTM03-01.

      • Authorised Person Pressure systems experience and a good knowledge of the operation of safe systems of work in particular JSP375 (desirable).

      • Practical experience in the validation and commissioning of installations (desirable).

      • Previous teaching or training experience (desirable).

      • A full driving licence and be willing to work away from home for short periods.

      • The ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

      • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication ability.

      • Enthusiasm for training and development.

      • Literate in MS office applications.
