Portfolio Manager - Bridging

A leading and reputable Bridging Lender, offering short-term, is seeking a skilled and motivated Portfolio Manager to join its dynamic team.

Must have Bridging experience.

As a Portfolio Manager in Bridging Finance, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of bridging loans, ensuring the effective assessment, monitoring, and management of loan performance. You will work closely with underwriters, loan administration teams, and senior management to provide solutions that meet the needs of our clients while maintaining a high standard of financial performance.

Portfolio Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of bridging finance loans from origination to completion.
• Assess and monitor loan performance, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews of loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare reports on portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders.
• Implement strategies for managing distressed loans, ensuring resolution and recovery.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan servicing and operations.
• Provide advice and recommendations on new loan structures and investment opportunities.

Portfolio Manager Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in portfolio management, preferably within bridging finance.
• Strong understanding of lending processes, credit analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A solid understanding of the UK property market is desirable.
• Knowledge of financial regulations related to bridging finance is an advantage.
• A professional qualification in finance (e.g., CFA, CII, or similar) is a plus.
