We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sociology Teacher to join our esteemed independent school. This role requires a qualified teacher with QTS and is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

Position: Sociology Teacher
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Sociology lessons to students.


• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic excellence.


• Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.


• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and participation in school events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Strong subject knowledge in Sociology
