Description

Post 16 Education, Employment and Training Project Manager | 11210 | Permanent Contract | Part-time 14.8 hours per week | £45,268 to £49,818 per annum, pro rata | Grade K | County Hall, Norwich

Are you passionate about improving education, employment and training outcomes for young people across Norfolk?

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager to join our Post 16 EET Service. You will develop and deliver projects that support successful transitions into post-16 learning, with a particular focus on vulnerable young people and those at risk of becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Working with education and training providers, health services, the voluntary sector and other partners, you will:

  • Plan and deliver projects that improve participation and sustained progression.
  • Manage funded activity, budgets, risks, reporting and delivery partners.
  • Build strong relationships, chair multi-agency groups and influence service improvement.
  • Support better outcomes for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those in alternative provision.

You will bring strong project management experience, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a good understanding of post-16 education and SEND. You will be able to interpret information, develop practical solutions and turn strategic priorities into clear, measurable action.

If you are ambitious for Norfolk’s young people and enjoy working across organisational boundaries to deliver meaningful change, we would welcome your application.

Norfolk County Council operates a hybrid working model and we expect that the majority of the role will be working remotely. When in the office your office base will be County Hall Norwich.  Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.

Before you apply, we recommend reading the full Job Description and Person Specification to help you demonstrate you meet the criteria.
