Job DescriptionPost Tension Supervisor – BirminghamCLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a world leader in specialised civil engineering. They are urgently seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the Post Tensioning works on a major infrastructure construction project in Birmingham. This role can be either contract or permanent, depending on preference.ROLESupervising the daily operations of the personnel on sitePerforming daily inspections of work performedAssigning the personnel and equipment to tasksSolving any problems that ariseMonitoring the work progress in order to respect the budgetary guidelines, the work schedules, the safety rules and the qualityMonitoring job safety, and providing job safety training and awareness for all personnel; (especially in heavy lifting, rigging and Post-Tension)Monitoring quality standards of all jobs, and ensuring that all quality assurance and company standards & project specifications are being metParticipating in daily planning meetings with contractors and site engineers & supervisors to review the activities and schedule the work.Supervising the personnel on the job site including Site Engineers, Workers & SupervisorsREQUIREMENTSAt least 5 years of experience working on civil engineering projects across the UKExcellent technical and hands-on knowledge of post-tensioned concreteMust have a valid gold CSCS Supervisory Card and Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme CertificateA history of working for main contractorsThe right to live and work in the UKImmediate availability is preferredAPPLICATION PROCESSIf you believe that you have the required industry specific know-how to succeed in this demanding role, please send your CV with current package details for the attention of Neill Donald at [email protected] Please note that this is an immediate requirement.
