  • Provide ongoing account management to customers to ensure that they understand their ongoing costs and risks, along with opportunities to create additional value

Role and Responsibilities

  • Partnering with C&I customers to frame power supply, flexibility and optimisation opportunities, analysing their needs, and developing power supply proposals in collaboration with VEV’s C&I retail supply partners
  • Analysing meter data, bill validation, cost of power (including hedging activities), and reconciling any errors
  • Supporting the new connection process for power supplies to ensure metering requirements are met, including working with project teams, meter operators and power suppliers
  • Preparing for and delivering monthly account reviews with VEV’s power supply & optimisation customers
  • Analysing and maintaining an internal database of non-commodity cost components, and staying abreast of industry changes
  • Developing Excel models to support cost forecasting for C&I power supply

Experience and qualifications required

  • Background: Minimum of 3 years in a commercial analyst role within the energy sector, with a focus on C&I (non-domestic) retail electricity markets, e.g. at a C&I energy retailer, consulting firm, or TPI/broker
  • Experience: Detailed understanding of the components of C&I retail power supply price structures; experience of benchmarking and comparing differing offers; knowledge of the trends of non-commodity price components
