We are searching an experienced Power Trader with a proven track record and an existing book to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in power trading, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to develop and implement successful trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize market knowledge and analytical skills to identify trading opportunities and develop effective trading strategies.
Execute trades in power markets to optimize profitability and manage risk.
Build and maintain relationships with counterparties to facilitate trading activities and enhance market presence.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and geopolitical events to anticipate market shifts and adapt trading strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, operations, and research to ensure alignment of trading activities with overall business objectives.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of trading tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior traders as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.
Experience in power trading managing your own VaR.
Proven track record of successful trading performance and the ability to generate consistent returns.
Strong understanding of power market fundamentals, trading techniques, and risk management principles.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed trading decisions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.
