Are you an experienced Powered Access Engineer looking for a role where you can earn more, work on a variety of equipment and have the freedom of a field-based position?

We're looking for a skilled Powered Access / MEWP Engineer to join a growing engineering team, covering customers nationwide.

If you know your scissor lifts from your boom lifts and can fault-find across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, we want to hear from you.

As a Powered Access Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping a range of access equipment safe, reliable and operational.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment
Fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
Working on MEWPs, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cherry pickers and vertical lifts
Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
Completing inspections and safety checks
Attending customer sites across the UK
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
Managing your own workload and daily schedule
Providing a professional service to customers
What Are We Looking For?

We're interested in Engineers from a Powered Access, Plant, Forklift, Agricultural, Heavy Plant or similar engineering background.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Powered Access Engineer / MEWP Engineer / Field Service Engineer
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge
Experience diagnosing and repairing mobile plant or access equipment
A full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
A customer-focused approach
Willingness to travel nationwide
Preferred Qualifications

IPAF PAL Card
LOLER qualification / inspection experience
CAP - Competent Assessed Person
NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Manufacturer-specific powered access training
Relevant MEWP / Powered Access qualificationsNot got every qualification? No problem. If you have strong hands-on engineering experience and the right attitude, we still want to hear from you.
