PPE/Stores Coordinator

Certex UK has an exciting new opening for a PPE/Stores Coordinator based at our branch in Great Yarmouth; candidates must be located within a daily commutable distance.

Overview of the role:

Responsible for the Great Yarmouth stores and stock movements covering Oil & Gas and Renewables including PFPE examinations.

The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include:

• Control of stores and stock equipment


• Inspection of personal fall protection equipment


• Organising freight via transport companies


• Delivery driving


• Booking in and stocking of goods


• Booking in and out of hired equipment


• Annual stocktake


• Ensuring all goods are correctly allocated to jobs


• General labour support as required.

Your qualifications and key skills will include:

• GCSE English & Maths


• Hard working, enthusiastic with excellent people skills


• Able to work well within a team and have excellent communication skills whilst having the initiative, self-motivation, and confidence to work alone


• Honest and driven with exceptional organisational skills


• Customer-focused


• Able to multi-task at a high level


• Able to work calmly under pressure


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (OneDrive, Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel)


• Written and verbal communication at all levels


• Meticulous organisation.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a store’s environment


• Knowledge of lifting equipment and the energy sector is preferred but full training will be given.
