Operating PPT accordance with applicable safety and standard operating procedures

* Sorting out, reporting and labelling defective load carriers

* Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and complying with health and safety regulations

* Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries

* Recording of received goods in the warehouse management system

* Storing received and recorded goods, following storage rules/procedures.

* Retrieving goods for internal production supply/external customer supply

* Adherence to recording procedures (scanning) during storage and retrieval to ensure accurate stock management

* Assistance with stock-taking

* Quantity checks on all incoming and outgoing goods

* Issuing delivery notes (empty containers)

* Actively supporting the planning department in handling discrepancies and implementing process improvements

Reporting delivery discrepancies (e.g. late deliveries) to the planning department

* Warehouse employee, valid external PPT licence with at least 2 years’ driving experience, knowledge of logistics

* Basic knowledge of IT/retail management systems

Training period: 6–12 months

6am- 2pm

2pm -10pm
