PQ Accountant

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with one of our key clients in the engineering sector for the position of a Part-Qualified Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing company in a vital role within the finance team.

Day to day duties of this role will include:

* Support the finance manager, when necessary, with projects and analysis

* Probe financial performance and provide notes on variances within the budget and forecast

* Adhering to strict deadlines of month end processes

* Cooperate with internal partners to give financial information and analysis

* Assisting with the readying of yearly statutory accounts and tax returns

* Maintaining strict compliance with accounting regulations and practices

* Spot areas for improvement and apply the changes to drive efficiency

The perfect candidate will possess the following key components:

* Studying towards completion of their ACCA/CIMA professional qualifications

* Excellent analytical expertise and the ability to understand and palpate data

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Excell skills and other accounting software

* Exposure of working in a busy and fast paced team environment and the ability to strict deadlines.
