Job Description - PR Account Director

Account Director - Travel PR

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

KRG are working with a highly respected boutique PR agency that specialises in travel, hospitality, and lifestyle communications. With an impressive portfolio of destination, hotel, and luxury travel clients, the agency has built a strong reputation for delivering creative, impactful campaigns that generate meaningful media coverage and long-lasting client relationships.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Account Director to lead a portfolio of travel and lifestyle accounts while playing a key role in the continued growth of the agency. This position would suit a strategic and commercially minded PR professional who enjoys building client relationships, developing creative campaigns, mentoring teams, and driving outstanding results.

You will be responsible for overseeing client programmes, managing and developing team members, contributing to new business activity, and ensuring the highest standards of campaign delivery across the agency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a portfolio of travel and lifestyle PR accounts.
Develop and execute strategic, integrated PR campaigns.
Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships.
Deliver impactful media relations programmes and secure high-quality coverage.
Create compelling pitch documents, proposals, and campaign strategies.
Confidently present ideas and recommendations to clients and prospects.
Support agency growth through new business activity and networking opportunities.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.About You

Proven experience operating at Account Director level within a PR agency.
Strong travel PR background, ideally across destinations, hotels, hospitality, luxury travel, or consumer brands.
Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Exceptional written communication skills, particularly for proposals, pitches, and strategic documents.
Confident presenter with strong commercial awareness.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Creative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.What's On Offer
