Job DescriptionPURPLE are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Account Manager to join its fast paced, growing Beauty & Wellness Division.The PURPLE Beauty & Wellness division work with some of the most globally recognised luxury brands across haircare, skincare, colour cosmetics, fitness & wellness including: REFY, Makeup By Mario, Susanne Kaufmann, Decree, Color Wow, Estrid, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Santa Maria Novella, Penhaligon’s, ReVive, Noble Panacea, Charlotte Mensah, L’Objet and Davines. PURPLE is amongst the foremost Global Communications agencies for luxury brands & innovation across fashion, beauty & wellness, lifestyle, events, VIP and digital with offices in London, New York, Miami, LA, Dubai, Hong Kong & Singapore.Responsibilities:Provide strategic and tactical support to the Account DirectorsDay-to-day client contact and manage client expectationsGenerate coverage in appropriate titlesMaintain regular day to day contact with key pressQuality work, on brief, on time and on budgetAssist senior team members in managing PR campaigns for diverse clients from conception to completionWorking with our in-house events team to manage launch events for media and influencersAbility to develop credentials and proposals with support from your Account DirectorAble to lead and execute events, press trips and press daysAble to demonstrate a sound understanding of the media developments and spot opportunities for PURPLE and your clientsContribute to agency new business efforts; both creating proposals and participating in relevant pitchesLine managing junior staff to ensure they meet targetsBe a brand champion, an expert on Beauty & Wellbeing knowledge and build key relationshipsDelivering coverage across online, offline and social media, and leverage added value from all PR activityPromote PURPLE and its brands, campaigns, activities and events to the media, public and external audiences globallyOwn media relations and to continue to develop and maintain relationships with key journalistsMonitor PURPLE brand placement/exposure, ensuring all communication and activity are on-brandWork closely with the social media team and brief on all events and launch initiativesWork closely with the other business channels within PURPLE to ensure campaigns are thoroughly planned and executed in good timeSupport AD’s on communication with all clients, building rapport and credibility based on trust and expert counselSkills and Experience4-6 years of Beauty & Wellbeing of luxury brand experience (adjacent industry experience will be considered) with established agency or similar role for in-house marketing department.Develop and implement PR strategies to support brand image, increase awareness and visibility in support of business goalsSuperb critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesise complex information, confidently make recommendations based on data, and work with an action-oriented mindsetAn ability to handle pressure with equanimity and to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast- paced, and accountability-focused organisation; a roll-up-your-sleeves attitudeDiscreet, professional, and well spoken, with excellent communication skillsExtremely well-organised, methodical and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiativePro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly promote the PURPLE offeringCreative and strategic thinkerStrong established UK media and influencer contactsInternational media and influencer contacts are also desirableStrong presentation & superb writing skillsAble to identify communication opportunities across multiple media platformsStrong MS Word skills; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
