Job Description

This is a really exciting time for ASOS as we re-design the entire talent operating model. Reporting into the PR Lead, you will be responsible for creating an unparalleled experience for influencers and talent that fuels excitement and generates brand love.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Showroom Manager to join our PR team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our PR showroom, ensuring it represents ASOS's brand image and caters to the needs of stylists, journalists, influencers, and other key stakeholders. The PR Showroom Manager will play a crucial role
in promoting ASOS products, coordinating sample management, and supporting PR campaigns. This role is a required to work from the London HQ in Camden 5 days per week.

You will manage1-2x PR assistants that will support with the running of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Showroom Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the ASOS PR showroom, ensuring it is always presentable, organized, and stocked with the latest collections.
- Maintain an inviting and inspirational environment that reflects the ASOS brand.

2. Sample Coordination:
- Manage the inventory of all samples, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and reporting of sample movement for auditing purposes.
- Coordinate sample requests from stylists, influencers, journalists, and internal teams, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor the return of samples and manage any losses or damages.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts, including fashion editors, stylists, and influencers.
- Host showroom appointments, providing product knowledge and styling advice to visitors.
- Support the PR team in organizing and hosting events, press days, and other promotional activities.

4. Product Promotion:
- Collaborate with the commercial and fashion team to identify key pieces for promotion in the showroom and ensure they are prominently displayed in the showroom.
- Work with the marketing team to align showroom displays with current campaigns and seasonal themes.

5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sample usage and showroom activity, providing insights and recommendations to the wider PR and talent team as well as any product feedback to the product design and commercial teams.
- Analyse the effectiveness of showroom-related PR activities and suggest improvements.

6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the wider PR and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and aligned communication strategies.
- Support the training and development of junior team members and apprentices.

Who we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced PR professional with fashion and/or retail experience, who has proven media and agency relationships.

They will need to feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple work streams, moving at different speeds, the ability to adapt and, at times, comfortable with certain levels of ambiguity.

They will have proven experience with embedding a completely new talent operating model at an e-commerce/ fashion brand.

• Demonstrable experience working on brand or agency side managing accounts for a large global business or accounts.

• Strong media relations and existing agency relationships within fashion industry.

• Strong understanding of PR and influencer marketing strategies with relevant experience helping to develop a new operation model and define and build brands on social.

• Confident in managing VIP talent and agency relationships.

• Proven event management experience.

• Enjoys a fast paced environment, constant change and being comfortable dealing with ambiguity. This is crucial in a high-growth environment which continuously redefines itself.

• High degree of personal and professional familiarity with all social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube etc.

• An enthusiastic and proactive attitude.

• Crisis management.

• Able and willing to take considered risks. Digital media is a developing space and the ability to make decisions about which risks to pursue, and which not to, is really important – as is the ability to assess and learn from those activities. How you’ll know you’re doing a good job

• You’ll be holding approx. 30-40 press, influencer or talent appointments in the showroom per week.

• Guests are sharing their appointments on social/ creating content from the appointment or off the back of it.

• ASOS exposure/ share of voice on social has grown.

• Our talent roster has expanded, is obsessed with ASOS and has a great experience working with us.
