The Opportunity

Jobsworth Recruitment is working with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Alcester that is looking to welcome an experienced Senior Accountant to its team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing a mix of accounting, tax compliance and client support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies.
Preparing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
Managing and supporting a varied portfolio of clients.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responding to client queries and providing day-to-day accountancy support.
Taking ownership of your workload and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with the wider team to deliver an excellent service.
About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has at least 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
Is confident preparing statutory accounts and tax returns.
Enjoys building relationships and communicating directly with clients.
Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
Is proactive, organised and comfortable managing their own workload.
Is keen to develop professionally and become part of a growing business.
