Practice Accountant - Tax or Audit

My client are a well-known Chartered Accountancy firm. They are looking for a practice accountant with Tax/Audit experience to join their Exeter office.

Role & Responsibilities include:
• Planning and completing audits
• Preparing management and statutory accounts
• Completing corporation tax computations
• Providing points for Director review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues
• Preparing sole trade and partnership accounts
• Completing income tax returns
• Providing points for review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues
• Monitoring and assisting more junior members in the team

Qualifications & Experience:
• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified
• Practice experience
• Strong IT skills and proficient in the use of computerised audit, accounts and tax software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take responsibility for managing and prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
• Accurate, methodical and inquisitive approach to work
• Motivated and highly effective whether working independently or as part of a team

Salary dependant on experience.
