Market Vets, part of ivc, is looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Director of Practice to lead two closely located practices and play a key role in their continued growth and success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced people and business leader who enjoys bringing together people, performance and commercial strategy. You don't need a clinical background, we're looking for someone who can inspire and develop teams, spot opportunities, make sound commercial decisions and create an environment where both people and the business can thrive.

Lead Two Practices and a Great Team

You'll provide leadership across more than 40 colleagues, spanning veterinary, nursing, client care, reception and administration teams.

Your role will be about bringing people together, creating a positive and high-performing culture and ensuring everyone has the support, direction and opportunities they need to do their best work.

You'll work closely with the Clinical Directors, combining your business and operational expertise with their clinical leadership to deliver an excellent experience for clients, patients and colleagues.

Shape the Future

With a competitive local market, you'll have plenty of scope to make a real commercial impact.

You'll identify opportunities to grow the practices, strengthen client relationships and improve retention, while ensuring we continue to deliver an outstanding service. You'll take ownership of the P&L, annual business planning and budgets, using insight and data to drive sustainable performance.

You'll also play a key role in shaping the longer-term strategy for both practices, turning ideas into action and helping Market Vets continue to build on its success.
