Practice Manager
Full -Time | Office -Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Practice Manager to oversee the day -to -day operations of a busy equine veterinary practice. This is a varied and hands -on role suited to someone highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities and comfortable working closely with both clinical and administrative teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice while supporting the wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Day -to -day management of the veterinary practice
• Diary and schedule management
• Stock control and inventory management
• Liaising with the central finance team regarding client billing
• Debt control and payment follow -ups
• Managing supplier deliveries, invoices and payments
• Handling client calls, enquiries and general queries professionally
• Coordinating equipment cleaning, maintenance and servicing
• Ensuring HR and Health & Safety compliance standards are maintained
• Supporting and managing two members of the administration team
• Working closely with the practice directors and wider veterinary team

Requirements
• Previous experience as a veterinary nurse
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong administrative and problem -solving abilities
• Experience managing or supervising a small team
• Confidence liaising with clients, suppliers and finance teams
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
Previous experience as an RPS (Radiation Protection Supervisor) would be advantageous, although full training can be provided if required.
