Practice Nurse

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a GP Surgery in Stockton-on-Tees, working on a permanent basis.

Supporting our established client, the suitable candidate will provide exceptional healthcare to their patients. This GP surgery holds 12k patients, working collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, their dedicated Practice Nurses, supported by other non clinical professionals.

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, TS18
Salary: £42k per annum + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus*
System: S1
Contract: Permanent 
Hours: Minimum 30hrs - Full Time Desired
Days: The suitable candidate can work reduced weeks if needed | flexible working practices

Duties of a Practice Nurse:

• Routine immunisation schedules
• Cervical screening
• Contraception reviews and family planning
• Travel vaccinations, baby immunisations
• Chronic disease management - Diabetes
• Dementia reviews
• Cancer care reviews
• Health promotion and disease management

Required:

• Valid NMC with 6 months experience working within a GP Surgery 
• Experience using S1
• Cytology trained
• Experience with Diabetes management
