Are you an experienced engineer with strong water hygiene knowledge? We're seeking a Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join our field-based team, This role covers the South of England and the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-commission flushing of LTHW & CHW systems in line with BSRIA BG29 guidelines
• Closed system chemical dosing and analysis
• Conducting system checks, sampling, and diagnostics
• Producing accurate site reports and test certificates
• Working safely on-site with manual handling and at heights
• Liaising with site managers, contractors, and clients in a professional manner
• Planning and managing your own schedule and workload
• To carry out both pre-commission chemical cleaning and cleaning via filtration processes
• Supporting on acid cleans and pre-commission cleaning & re commission clean of large-scale systems.
• Remedial cleaning, fault finding, problem solving of existing systems
• Completing all reports via a tablet

Requirements

• Water hygiene knowledge is essential (ACoP L8, HSG274, BSRIA BG50 understanding preferred)
• Previous experience in pre-commission cleaning, flushing, and sampling
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full Manual Driving Licence
• Experience within the water treatment pre commission industry
• Good understanding and knowledge of mechanical water systems
• The ability to read and understand system drawings
• Experience of dosing all types of closed systems
