These roles are offered with flexible hours during term-time and holiday periods, reflecting our commitment to a positive work-life balance. Working hours are 22.5 hours per week during term-time over three days, plus additional hours during holiday weeks, with a start date to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support children’s learning and development in accordance with the EYFS and Birth to 5 Matters frameworks, ensuring a personalised approach to meet individual needs.

- Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing activities that promote children's practical skills, independence, and confidence.

- Provide 1:1 support to children requiring additional help, ensuring they are fully included in all aspects of nursery life.

- Support children with their behaviour and social interactions, fostering a respectful and caring environment that reflects the school’s values.

- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment within the nursery, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

- Assist with the organisation of resources and learning materials to support effective lesson delivery.

- Supervise children during activities, playtimes, and outings, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.

- Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child and to promote a positive, inclusive nursery community.

- Contribute to the monitoring and recording of children’s progress, providing feedback to the teaching team to inform planning and assessment.

- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and developments in early years education.
