Linen Porter / Premises Porter

Location: Sidmouth Seafront
Full Time / Part Time – Hours to include mornings and weekends

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and proactive Linen Porter / Premises Porter to join our independent, family-run hospitality group in Sidmouth.

This is a key support role working across our hotels, restaurant and self-catering properties, ensuring our linen systems, external areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to a consistently high standard.

The Role

You will support our Housekeeping and Operations teams by:

Linen & Laundry

• Collecting and distributing dirty and clean linen across sites


• Organising linen cages and storage areas


• Supporting daily laundry operations


• Washing, drying and folding cloths and housekeeping items


• Maintaining a clean and organised laundry room

Premises & Presentation

• Sweeping and maintaining patios, entrances and car parks


• Cleaning outdoor tables and setting umbrellas


• Ensuring dog bowls are refreshed


• Keeping bin stores clean and organised


• Supporting with waste and recycling collections


• General weeding and upkeep of external areas

Internal Support

• Cleaning staff facilities and garage toilet


• Receiving and organising housekeeping deliveries


• Supporting with self-catering property changeovers (linen & exterior checks)

About You

• Reliable and punctual


• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work


• Self-motivated and able to work independently


• High attention to detail


• Takes pride in maintaining standards


• Flexible and willing to work across multiple sites

Experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential — attitude and work ethic are far more important.
