A successful Mixed Secondary School in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to oversee the management and development of its site and facilities on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of premises management including planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, health and safety compliance, site security and facilities improvement projects.
Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, conducting site inspections, overseeing contractors, managing premises staff, monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
You will work closely with senior leaders to support school improvement priorities and ensure that all facilities provide an excellent environment for teaching and learning.
The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptionally high standards.

• Previous premises, estates or facilities management experience
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes
• Leadership and team management experience
