Premises Manager

A successful Mixed Secondary School in Trafford is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and development of its school site on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining outstanding facilities and ensuring a safe, secure environment for students, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of premises management including health and safety compliance, planned maintenance, reactive repairs, contractor management, site security and facilities improvement projects.

Responsibilities will include managing maintenance schedules, conducting site inspections, coordinating contractors, overseeing premises staff, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.

You will work closely with senior leaders to support long-term site development projects and ensure facilities continue to provide an excellent environment for teaching and learning.

The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and the confidence to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
