Premises Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Lewisham, South East London
Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Premises Officer to join our welcoming and supportive school community in Lewisham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong knowledge of school premises management who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented learning environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent practical and organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of health and safety requirements. A relevant degree or professional qualification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained.
Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and site inspections.
Oversee health and safety compliance across the premises.
Manage contractors and support planned maintenance projects.
Prepare rooms and facilities for school events and activities.
Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
