Prep Factory Cleaner

Tennial Personnel are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our long-standing client’s team based just outside of Colchester. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful 12-week probation period. The working hours are 07:00 to 18:00 on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, including weekends.

You will be based at the client’s brand-new prepared food factory, where you will play a vital role in maintaining high hygiene standards across the site. Responsibilities will include cleaning non-production areas such as corridors, changing rooms, canteens, meeting rooms, and offices. You will also be responsible for managing waste disposal and ensuring waste areas are kept clean and tidy. As part of your role, you’ll follow all health and safety and food hygiene protocols, complete cleaning records and paperwork accurately and on time, restock cleaning supplies, and report any maintenance issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping workplaces clean and safe. Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
